Dane Reynolds enjoys his "Dear Suburbia"

Author: SurferToday.com

Kai Neville is preparing to release a new surf movie. After the impressive films "Modern Collective" and "Lost Atlas", the surfer director plans the launch of "Dear Suburbia".

The surf movie showcases a surf trip to Japan and other surf secrets, in which well-known surf stars like Dane Reynolds, Jordy Smith, Julian Wilson, Craig Anderson, Mitch Coleborn, John John Florence, Kolohe Andino, Chippa Wilson and Dusty Payne discover the magical waves of the Asian country.

Kai Neville decided to sip rice wine and eat slabs of Blue fin in the name of art and the result of all that is "Dear Suburbia", a film to be officially released in August 2012. Watch the prequels of "Dear Suburbia", here.

The director will also be publishing a hard-cover book called "What Youth" every three months, the first of which lands in June. Designer Jon Zawada is making artwork truly alternative. Conceptual soundtrack is expected, too.

The collection of air moves is great. Kai Neville seems to move away from the classic clichés of surf movies. "Dear Suburbia" will certainly be welcome at our homes.
