We are a surf school in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca Mexico a tropical paradise. OUR SCHOOL is the perfect place to come and learn this extreme and fun sport called SURFING. We want you to enjoy Puerto Escondido and all it has to offer being a town very rich in mexican and surfing culture. You can come and be completely confident that you will be in good hands since our instructor is a qualified lifeguard and has over 20 years experience surfing. EACH CLASS includes transportation from your hotel to the beach where the class will be given and then back to your hotel, rashguard & long board (which is a special surfboard for beginners). Once you are picked up from your hotel you will be taken to a beach depending on the conditions of the waves and swell of that day. The instructor will explain each part of the surfboard and what its use is. Once you have gone through all the parts of the board you will be given a basic theory on how to paddle, lay and stand on the board. The theory on the beach will last around 10 to 15 minutes. You will then be taken in to the water and put into practice what you learnt on the beach under careful watch of the instructor who will push you in the waves and aid you in case you fall off the board. Once the class is finished you can be taken back to your hotel or you can stay and enjoy the beach. PRICES: $400 Mexican pesos per person for a class of 2 hours If 3 or more people would like to take the class the cost lowers to $350 Mexican Pesos per person

Great lessons - 09 Aug 2010
I spent a week in Puerto Escondido trying to surf again after a 10 year break from it. Celestino is a great instructor and I managed to take waves during the very first lesson.

Awesome School - 07 Aug 2010
To be honest, I didn't think that I could ever surf, but Celestino is an amazing surfing instructor. I was able to get up and ride some good waves. The surf is amazing in Puerto Escondido. You have got to get down there. And when you do, you have got to go to Zicatela Conexion Surf School.

I went to Puerto Escondido 3 months ago and have the pleasure to met Celestino. He is a world class surfer that loves the ocean and to teach you about it, If you go you should not miss the opportunity to enjoy the amazing waves of Puerto and to learn from the best surf instructor I have ever had.
