Jimmys review is obviously a fake written by these uncoordinated bums trying to rake in as much cash as they can get from you. The operation these guys are running is underhanded and 'unofficial', little more than a bunch of mates trying to surf/party for free by making you pay their bills for them. The equipment looks like it came from the dump, the accommodation is almost a squat and the staff have no qualifications or desire to provide support if you need it. Dont bother, there are plenty of legitimate companies doing this properly for a good price.

booked in with stoke travel for a day trip from Barcelona to Bunol for the 2010 La Tomatina festival. Pick up time was late, tour guide (i use the term guide very loosely) was arrogant, dismissive and drunk before the trip even left. Arrived in Bunol 3 hours late, the free Beer was non-existant and no direction or advice was given other than "Bunol is the shittest place in Spain, I wouldn't come here if I didnt have to" Just what you want to hear after giving them £150 to get you there. The tour guide then announced that he had a footy match in Barcelona to attend that evening, and as a result we would be leaving Bunol 3 hours earlier than stated on the ticket- we were told "I know it says different on the ticket, but get over it thats how it is" Ruined this once in a lifetime experience for myself and many other people on the tour. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Unfortunatley unlike Jimmy the experience (well no experience) that stoke travel arranged for a surf trip turned into a nightmare and topped off by a unwilling stoke employee to refund money paid. The surf house in Biarritz was did not exist (went bust) however Stoke Travel never mentioned this before we arrived at the destination! No compensation was made for the ruined weekend whilst I believe to this day they are still advertsing surf biarritz on their website....great work stoke...useless.

Stoke Travel Rocks! - 27 May 2009
I went on the Stoke Travel surfari last year and the surf and party was amazing. Great times, lots of laughter with a wicked crew making sure our surf camp was all good and that our surf lessons got us out on the waves. I was chatting with a bunch of other people there who had been on the surfari in Morocco, or the surf houses and surf camps in Portugal, Spain and France and they all seemed to say the same thing. The 5€ a day unlimited beer & sangria rocks! This year I will be definitely going back, and hopefully be able to get to the Running of the Bulls, Oktoberfest or Tomatina festivals with Stoke!
