I have relied on PJs surf report for the last 12 years and being a land lubber he has saved me a fortune in petrol costs. His tide and wind information, combined with swell size make it possible to know where to head any where from White-sands to Croyde Bay. The report is also updated as soon as conditions change. Forget web cams as its hard to judge the wave size at different stages of the tide. When using the report look out for clues: Roving, on the nose, off the lip, in the tube. As for the shop, one of the friendliest family run surf shops on the planet. P.S. Pete hows about a 20% discount on a new board?

Acurate but.. - 08 Feb 2006
He's acurate cos he's always on the beach but no long range forecast of any accuracy and he does tend to ramble on a bit. OK on the day but no use for planning ahead. Probably better off just using a web cam.

Easily the best surf shop in the Swansea area. PJ himself is a really sound bloke who'll give friendly advice if you need it. Huge range of boards and gear and cheap to hire too! Also it's right next to a pub!
