Good luck with your school!!, 8 Aug 2008 |

| Hi Guys,
I just wanted to wish you luck with your surf school!
I’m not a surfer but have been riding the waves a Vazon for the last 20+yrs, however more often than not I have one of those sail things sticking out of my board! No doubt we’ll meet up soon as we usually rig up and sail from the same slipway where you operate from.
All the best,
Matt |

| Thank you so much, Carmen, for a great time on Friday.
All the boys had a wonderful time as you can see from these pictures.
Hope to see you again soon - they've all been bitten by the surf bug!
Regards

| May I congratulate you on a great course for the surf school. My son William had a fabulous time last week and is now well into his surfing – to the extent that I have bought him his own board and we ‘hit the waves’ ourselves on Tuesday.
With kindest regards and best wishes.

No Respect!!, 31 Jul 2008 |

| I am afraid the Surf School is being run by a bunch of Arrogant idiots! They have come to Guernsey thinking they own the place. They have No respect for the Local surfers, No respect for local surf scene and certainly no respect for the history of the surf club and the battles the club has had to endure over the years to protect surfing. They have come to Guernsey setup the school and are now looking to change laws etc without even contacting the local surfing community to see what their thoughts are as long as it benefits them and allows them to make a fast buck. Total Arrogance and as result are not welcomed by the locals in Guernsey! The sooner they leave the better!!!! Jersey has no place running a school in Guernsey. If they had operated with the Guernsey Surfers then things may have been different but they have shown they really dont care!! nevermind only another 4 or so weeks of these a holes to go!!! |

| I have been coming over to Guernsey on holiday every year for sometime now and love your island! I'm also a huge fan of surfing (although far from very good) so at some point during the break I fly over to Jersey to rent equipment and go for a surf. Glad I'll now be able to stay in Guernsey for the whole holiday now!!! Good luck with it all and see you this summer!!! |

Guernsey Surf School, 20 Feb 2008 |

| Vazon is my local surfing break and although I share the concerns that were voiced by Ross in the previous review, I am looking forward to this new development in the Island. I think so long as the school is managed appropriately and adequate consideration is given to local surfers, the school will be a great addition to Guernsey. I am hoping it will offer local children easy access to surfing and promote the sport to the younger generation here. Good luck! |

Not so sure..., 15 Feb 2008 |

| I'd like to make a small point on the surf school coming to Guernsey. Although it is a great idea, so that people get involved in the sport, I feel that Vazon may be too much of a small bay to hold a surf school. At present you have have a marked area for surfers, which in the summer especially gets extremely rammed by all kinds of surfer, be it long boarder, short boarder, and those "Surf Kayaks". Yes you can move the school further down the beach, however the waves (unless on a bigger day) do not tend to break closer towards the Beach Cafe.
I do admit it is great for tourism, but worry that there is not enough space to house a school plus all the surfers which are already in the water in Guernsey. |

| It about time someone set up a surf school in Guernsey!!
I'm also extremely pleased it is being done by someone who manages a successful surf school in Jersey.
Looking forward to visiting you this summer |
