And with no continental shelf there is nothing stopping swells from as far away as Africa or Nova Scotia. Peak months are November to April, but hurricane season and even summer provide action too. We offer accomodation at the Surfer's Haven guesthouse, 5 minutes from Surfer's Beach and you can book a package 'stay and play' deal or just rent a room and bring a board. We also rent boards, mask and snorkel sets, kayaks and even offer internet access. Surfer's Haven offers full kitchen access and one of the best views in the Bahamas - unmatched by anywhere nearby.
