A NEW WORLD CHAMPION WILL BE CROWNED TODAY
News provided by ASP World Tour on 5 January 2006
While the grey skies are still hanging overhead, the swell has cleaned up at North Narrabeen Beach, Australia and the Billabong World Junior Championships are off and running.
The waves are rolling in consistently at around the one metre (three foot) mark, with right hand breaking waves pushing all the way into what is known as the Narrabeen Alley.
The schedule for the day will see the guys roll on until heat four of round three this morning then the event will move into the semi finals and finals of the ladies.
This will mean that we will be crowning a new ASP world champion later today!
Log on to www.billabongpro.com or www.aspworldtour.com now to watch all the action and for the full draw for the men and women.
