We are a surf school in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca Mexico a tropical paradise. OUR SCHOOL is the perfect place to come and learn this extreme and fun sport called SURFING. We want you to enjoy Puerto Escondido and all it has to offer being a town very rich in mexican and surfing culture. You can come and be completely confident that you will be in good hands since our instructor is a qualified lifeguard and has over 20 years experience surfing. EACH CLASS includes transportation from your hotel to the beach where the class will be given and then back to your hotel, rashguard & long board (which is a special surfboard for beginners). Once you are picked up from your hotel you will be taken to a beach depending on the conditions of the waves and swell of that day. The instructor will explain each part of the surfboard and what its use is. Once you have gone through all the parts of the board you will be given a basic theory on how to paddle, lay and stand on the board. The theory on the beach will last around 10 to 15 minutes. You will then be taken in to the water and put into practice what you learnt on the beach under careful watch of the instructor who will push you in the waves and aid you in case you fall off the board. The class can be of one hour in the water and fifteen minutes theory on the beach or 2 hours in the water and fifteen minutes theory. Once the class is finished you can be taken back to your hotel or you can stay and enjoy the beach. The Card is given to you the day you purchase it and from then on you can decide when you would like to take your 5 surf lessons. The instructor will eventually graduate you to a smaller board and teach you everything you have to know to become a surfer. This membership card is really good if you are looking to become a surfer and not only have a one day surf experience.

Study as many hours per week as you would like and start any day you choose. Located in a picturesque fishing village of 65,000 people on the Pacific Coast of Mexico just a few hours south of Acapulco and north of Huatulco. Instituto de Lenguajes Puerto Escondido is situated just meters above and with a great view of the world famous surfing beach, Playa Zicatela more commonly known as the Mexican Pipeline Flights are available daily into Puerto Escondido International Airport as do busses from Mexico City, Acapulco and Oaxaca. Once you arrive in Puerto, public transportation is affordable and readily available through all parts of Puerto Escondido. One-on-one classes cost $10 U.S. an hour. However, as the class sizes increase the cost per student goes down. If there are two students in a group, the cost is $8 U.S. an hour per student. For a group of three students, it's $7 U.S. an hour each and for 4 or more students, it's $6 U.S. an hour each.
